TV commercial recruiting local male talent

Two Mesa County locals could soon get their chance to shine in the national spotlight.

Local documentary filmmaker and producer Larry Cappetto is searching for two people to be in his new, national television commercial. The spot will be 30 seconds, promoting a national peanut butter brand.

Specifically, Cappetto is looking for a boy between 3 and 5 years old and a man between 70 and 95 years old. No prior acting experience is needed.

If you are interested in trying out, email Cappetto at casting@hdimpactvideos.com .

Auditions will be in the next two weeks, and shooting starts Oct. 1.

Cappetto says he'll be filming in a local park, and he expects the commercial to air in January 2013. It may even turn into a series of spots.

Cappetto is the producer of “Lest They Be Forgotten,” an award-winning, public TV documentary series that records the stories of American and Canadian war veterans.
