The Mesa County Republicans will host Texas Governor Rick Perry and House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy Monday at a meet and greet and luncheon.

The meet and greet will take place at 11 a.m. at the Victory Headquarters, located at 1114 N. 1st Street, Suite 102.

Lunch will follow at 12:15 p.m. at Starvin' Arvin's Restaurant on F Road in Clifton.

The two will be traveling along the Western Slope to discuss Mitt Romney’s plans to get a balanced budget, create jobs and start change on day one.
