Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) – Mesa County Libraries are helping people exercise their mind with out opening a book.
The county libraries are offering free beginner Tai Chi classes.

Tai Chi is an old ancient art form that originated in China. The idea is to exercise the body while getting the inner self in touch with the earth.

The classes are open to the public, they are for all ages, and there is no charge to attend. The next class will be held at the Palisade Branch library Thursday February 23 at 6:30 pm.

No experience is necessary, and participants are asked to dress comfortably and bring water.
