PALISADE, Colo. An assembly at Palisade High School involved hair clippers and three brave faculty members all for a good cause.

Two teachers got mohawks and the principal shaved his head to raise money for the Gabe Hellman scholarship fund, honoring a students who tragically died two years ago, and also for the Punning with the Pack club, which gets students involved in sports.

Last year the school raised $1,600 dollars, but the hair raising fundraiser got $2,054 this year.

Half of the donations will help give two athletes money for college and the other half will help fund the sports club's events.
