GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Good news, the three month weather outlook for the Western Slope shows temperatures warming up above average between March and May.

Although higher temps are predicted there is still a chance for that to change through spring.

"Spring is transition season and we will go from very pleasant days to more of the winter like days," Jim Daniels, National Weather Service.

Meteorologists at the National Weather Service said there is no clear-cut prediction of precipitation.

What they can say is last year's April freeze was later than average and they don't expect that to happen this year as freeze days are on track to follow the normal trend.
