Traffic alert: 4 road projects to start Monday

Grand Junction, Colo. -- Four public works projects will begin this upcoming Monday, Apr. 27 and it may affect your commute.

Crews will be doing inspection and repair of a pipeline suspended below the bridge. The bridge will be restricted to one lane for the east bound traffic only. Hours of operation will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.

Watch for City crews flushing water lines this week. Excessive amounts of water will be running down gutters and across drain pans. Please slow down while driving through these areas.

South bound 7th Street between Main Street and Colorado Avenue will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic during normal working hours.

15th Street will be closed for sewer line construction and a detour route will be in place. Access will be provided for residents living in the area.
