Clifton, Colo. (KKCO) --- The powerball winners are in and two people from Colorado will be taking home $2 million each.

At about 11 a.m. on Thursday, East Valley Liquors in Clifton learned that one of the two winners had purchased the Powerball ticket Wednesday night at their store.

East Valley Liquor employees say they were excited to learn about the news but now they're anxious to meet the winner.

"Well I think whoever won't should come in and tell us and like buy that bottle of champagne and pop it and let's have us some champagne," says store manager, Cindi Blair. "It's going to be kind of neat to see if they come in... if it was a regular or if it was just somebody going hunting...I'm excited to find out who won it!"

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are one in 175-million and while they didn't do that, both Colorado winners matched 5 for 5 with Power Play.

The next Powerball drawing will take place Saturday evening.
