The Grand Junction VA Medical Center received a $375,000 dollar donation.

The money came from an individual who wishes to remain unknown.

Chief of Customer Relations Paul Sweeney said this is the largest donation to ever come from one individual.

The donor routed the money through the Chicago Community Foundation's Northern Trust Charitable Giving Program.

The donor's only requests are that the money not be used on an existing project and he or she wants it to reach as many people as possible.
