CMU Wrestling breaks top 20 in polls
Colorado Mesa wrestling cracked the most recent NCAA Div. II poll. After beating No. 9 Adams State and No. 18 Western State, Mesa is now No. 20 in Div. II wrestling.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Colorado Mesa wrestling cracked the most recent NCAA Div. II poll. After beating No. 9 Adams State and No. 18 Western State, Mesa is now No. 20 in Div. II wrestling.
Mesa (8-9, 3-3) also has two individuals ranked in the top eight in the nation. Nick Petersen is No. 8 in the 184 class, and James Martinez is No. 8 in the 141 class.
Mesa's home schedule for the year is complete, but they have three more duals left in the regular season.
