GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- After a dominating weekend, the Fruita and Palisade boys and the Grand Junction girls all find themselves in at least a share for first place.

FMHS boys (13-2, 3-0) share the top of the SWL with Montrose, and that's exactly who they will face on Tuesday Jan. 24. But the Wildcats are dealing with a collective team illness from their weekend in Durango and Cortez. Meanwhile, Montrose is riding a 10-game win streak.

The Palisade boys (12-2, 5-0) won two more games this last weekend on the road to extend their win streak to 12 games. They will take a break from league play on Tuesday to host the Aspen Skiers.

The GJ girls (13-3, 3-0) are also coming off of two wins against Cortez and Durango over the weekend, and they too are tied with Montrose for first in the SWL. Central comes to the GJ gym on Tuesday for a cross-town battle.
