Eastbound I-70 in Glenwood Canyon closed due to multiple accidents

Eastbound Interstate 70 is now reopened in Glenwood Canyon between mile marker 116 in Glenwood Springs to mile marker 132 after multiple crashes caused it to close last night.

The Colorado State Patrol tells us the accidents happened at around 7 P.M. and included two semi trucks.

We do not have details on the extent of injuries from the crashes or what caused them at this time.
