Executive Director Academy (EDA) is a one-week crash course offered by JVA Consulting in Denver, Colorado, for those on the fast track to nonprofit executive directorship. It lasts from Feb. 4 to 8.

JVA Consulting is a firm based in the intermountain West that works with social innovators to strengthen their communities. Since 2007, JVA has been offering EDA as an intensive course for prospective, new and learning executive directors with sessions on shared leadership, management, governance, fundraising, finances, marketing, grant writing, program development and evaluation, and more, all tailored to the new executive director. Now beginning its eleventh EDA cohort, JVA has trained executive directors from across Colorado and from both the East and West coasts using the EDA curriculum.
