Posted: 8:53 AM Feb 19, 2013
Reporter: Associated Press

AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- Aurora police say one person has been arrested after several pipe bombs and bomb-making materials were found inside a home.

Spokeswoman Cassidee Carlson says police were responding to a small fire in a basement Tuesday when they found suspicious materials. Authorities also found and removed two explosives from a shed in back.

Michael Grover is facing charges of possession of explosives and was being held in the Aurora jail on $6,000 bond.

Carlson says police are getting a search warrant to look for more dangerous materials. Authorities say they also found illegal fireworks. Federal investigators have also joined the case.

Four houses were evacuated as a precaution.
