GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – A grant was given to Mesa Developmental Services from the Colorado Health Foundation for $7,000. The grant was for MDS’s newly developed Audyssey program, which is a service option for anyone with autism.
One out of 88 children in the United States is born with Autism Spectrum Disorder each year, according to the CDC. MDS has been working with many organizations and families to develop services to help people with autism.
