Marijuana potency, tourism up for CO debate

DENVER (AP) -- Colorado marijuana regulators are torn over how pot can be used and grown, with only about a week to go before lawmakers want to see suggested regulations.

A state task force set up to regulate the drug made legal by voters by year failed Tuesday to agree to home-growing regulations and public use rules. The task force had planned to vote on whether marijuana gardeners should have to use covered buildings if they're not growing marijuana inside. Coloradans voted last year to allow adults over 21 to have up to six plants.

The task force also failed to agree whether marijuana use should be banned on private porches and patios visible by others.
