Grand Junction, Colo. (KKCO) - For the second night in a row, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing North Avenue. Just before 7 p.m. on Thursday night, a man was hit by a pickup truck while he was crossing the street. The man is in his 60s. The accident occurred near the Eastgate Shopping Center.

On Wednesday night, another pedestrian was hit near the same place on North Avenue. The woman was hit by a car and then transported to the hospital. Neither of the victims hit had any life-threatening injuries. Both times the marked pedestrian crossing was not used.
