Local businesses promote a fundraising festival

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – Rally Cap Productions and Word of Mouth Promotions have teamed up to help sponsor the Salina Ritchie Family Benefit Festival this Saturday, Mar. 2.

Salina Ritchie had been battling Brain Cancer and was recovering from brain surgery for the second time to combat brain tumors. Ritchie passed away on Feb. 9 2013. Her insurance stopped covering her children and this fundraiser is to raise enough money to support them.

In addition to the festival, AC Touch will be giving 40% of all items purchased to the Ritchie family.

The event is $10 to get in. Doors will open on Mar. 2 at 1 p.m. located at the 4th Door.
