CMU makes history, grabs No. 4 ranking

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Get out the history books. Colorado Mesa nabbed the No. 4 spot in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches' Poll on Tuesday.

This is the highest ranking in team history and the Mavs already have the longest win streak in team history with their 15-0 start to the season.

First year player for CMU, Bruna Deichmann says this season has been an incredible experience for her as she finishes up her collegiate career.

"When I came here and played with the girls I had the feeling that we could be a very good team," Deichmann said after receiving word of the team's new ranking.

"But," she added, "I didn't it was going to turn out this good."
