CMU down to 5 candidates for A.D. vacancy

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The vacant desk in Colorado Mesa's Athletic Director's office is closing in on a new occupant.
The university announced on Thursday that there are five finalists for the position.
All five will be on campus at the end of February for personal interviews.
Below is the list of the final candidates and their current positions:
-Andrew Carter, A.D. of Northwestern Oklahoma State
-Dennis Francois, Associate A.D. of Drake University
-Rick Goeb, A.D. of Bemidji State (Minn.)
-Doug Mosley, Senior Associate A.D. of the University of Cincinnati
-George Nelson, Associate A.D. of the Air Force Academy
Butch Miller resigned as CMU Athletic Director in November of 2012 citing personal health reasons.
Miller spent four years as the head of Mavericks' athletics.
