Win-by-guarding-the-paint mentality for Palisade on Friday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Look for the focus of the Palisade Bulldogs defense on Friday night to be standing in the post.

The Bulldogs host Steamboat Springs Friday night and they're concentrating on defending against 6'9" sophomore Garrett Bye.

"That's a lot taller than anybody we have here," said Palisade's Luke Mclean.

"We got to have all five guys [boxing out], not just one," Mclean added.

The Bulldogs lead the WSL with a 9-1 conference record this season.
