2nd annual Mr. Maverick Pageant

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Complete with cheesy pick-up lines, a few Speedos and bad singing, the second annual Mr. Maverick Pageant at Colorado Mesa was a smashing success on Monday.

Male members from each of the CMU athletic teams competed for the prize of Mr. Maverick 2013 on Monday.

Each contestant had to showcase a talent, a good pick-up line, formal wear, a swim suit and answer some tough questions in order to win the grand prize.

Stuart "Fabio" was the grand prize winner and named Mr. Mav of 2013.

Proceeds from the event benefit the CMU athletic trainers club.
