GJ wrestlers gear up for Regionals

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Grand Junction wrestling team is in the hunt for great success by a young batch of wrestlers at the state Regionals.

Sophomore Jacob Trujillo is the Tigers' greatest threat this season, he's been ranked No. 1 in 145's all season. And Trujillo's fellow underclassmen teammates are looking to make a splash at Regionals, followed by State, too.

Freshman Cody Lacy won his first SWL individual title last weekend at 106 lbs., and he's anxious to test his skills at the state level.

"I'm not 100% positive that I will [place at state]," Lacy says, "but I expect that I will."
