Body pulled from Colorado River

A tragic accident leads to authorities pulling a body from the river Saturday evening. It happened around C and ¾ Road at the Colorado River.

Around 5:10 Saturday evening, the Sheriff's Office received a call that a man fell into the river and didn’t come back up. Deputies and the fire department arrived on scene, and a dive team went in and retrieved the body.

Authorities attempted to revive the man with CPR but were unsuccessful.
Friends of the victim told authorities the man was highly intoxicated when the incident happened. He's believed to be in his 40s, but no other information is being released at this time.

    I took a journalism class in High school (1967) and It is supposed to be Who,what, Where and Why! Maybe hiring a real journalist would make your story more professional!

      I'm betting that your journalism class in 1967 did not include what information police could or could not release in the moments after an incident happens. Don't cut the media down when they are given very limited information on scene and have to wait for more.

        Good idea. Have them sit on the edge, get too drunk to climb outta there, and just fall in and drown. Good way to clean things up a bit.
