Truck slams into several cars, takes off

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) Police say a man driving westbound on North Avenue slammed into several cars. The cars were stopped at a red light in front of the McDonald's restaurant. Sheriffs found the truck pulling into a driveway on 29 1/4 road near Orchard. The driver was arrested for DUI and hit and run, among other charges. People lost their minds when some guy was riding his bike with a concealed weapon "in the area" of the high school! Drunk and distracted drivers are a MUCH bigger threat than some guy out for a bike ride. Especially at this intersection. The pedestrian traffic at that intersection is very heavy. So why didn't they "lock down" the university?

Well to begin with, at 9 PM the University is ALREADY LOCKED DOWN for the evening. Is that TOO DIFFICULT for you to figure out, or was this your attempt at sarcasm?

"One of our crew" ... So much for local journalism. What's the problem at KKCO? Incompetent management? All you had to do was to follow up on a story that you had the scoop on, and you couldn't do it. Were you waiting for someone on New York City at AP to work it out for you and email it so you could put down your nail file and post it on the web page. This is past bad reporting, this is pathetic!

Ok, NONUTS if this reporting bothers you so much then why are you here? Somebody like you should have their very own world. Just think a world of perfect people, like yourself. The only thing pathetic is you.

Its because "Say What" is probably just as tired as most of us are, of the unprofessional, inept Elementary school level of reporting. This is also evident in the education of most local students who write and speak so ignorant (yet recieve 4.0 gpa's)there really is no other choice but to "call out" or Point Out" the lack of basics that make news what it is or supposed to be. Who, What, Where, When and Why!
