The opening ceremonies are just getting underway at the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival, and visitors will have over 100 vendor booths to check out. Know more about Friday and Saturday's festivities.

There will be non-profit and commercial booths, as well as food vendors. You can find anything from turkey legs to tacos to chocolate covered bacon, as well as a variety of fan favorite fair food. Visitors will also get all the "Olathe Sweet" Sweet Corn they can eat for free once they're in the gates.

Kids will have a chance to ride amusement park rides, and both evenings will be highlighted by two concerts. Concerts will start at 6 and 7 p.m.

You can save three dollars per ticket if you purchase them before the gates. Those can be found at local City Markets, Alpine Bank, Paper Works, Bank of Colorado and the Town of Olathe.

Gates open at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. Opening ceremonies are expected to begin around 5:30 p.m.
