Ever think those with a refund owed them may not have proper identification? Just wondering......

WOW! 40 money grubbing Mesa County residents haven't claimed their money? No. It can't be. Somehow the state is manipulating the data so they can keep that money and spend it on something useless like - Heaven forbid - education.

While I agree the Education system, for all levels, needs more funding, the state cannot include that money in their budget for several years to come. Besides, that money being spent locally is still a benefit for us here in Mesa county. Maybe not the ideal benefit, but good still the same.

No, the education system does not need more money. The taxpayers need better employees that work for the People, not the unions.

Ah-ha. We found something we agree on. The unions are a problem. Interestingly, that was just addressed by the state. That should never have been a tax payer cost. And I think that if it is managed well, more money in the education system would only benefit our next generation. The only qualifier I have for that is the need for the any additional money to be inside the budget, with an eventual budget in the black for our state.
