MONTROSE, Colo. - The Grand Junction Boys basketball team improved its perfect record in the Southwestern League to 6-0 with a 70-31 blowout victory over the Montrose Indians.

The Tigers have now won eight straight games and improve to 16-2 overall on the season.

Montrose started the season 9-3 but have struggled in league play dropping five of their six games. The 1-5 league record (10-8 overall) has them last in the SWL.

The Tigers and Indians both return to the court on Friday, February 15 when Montrose faces Montezuma-Cortez, and Grand Junction visits Durango.
