MONTROSE, Colo, - The Montrose girls hammered the Fruita Wildcats 58-33 on Tuesday night while the Fruita boys handed the Indians a 69-56 loss.
Beau Coit led the way for the Wildcats with 21 points and Corey Schultz pitched in 17. Fruita keeps a firm grip on second place in the Southwestern League with the win.
The Lady Indians improve to 6-3 in SWL play. Fruita drops to 2-7 with Tuesday's loss.
