GRAND JUNCTION - The Grand Junction Tigers baseball team won another Southwestern League game on Friday afternoon when they beat the Montrose Indians at Canyon View Park 5-2.

The Tigers scored three runs in the third inning thanks mostly in part to a two-run triple by Bubba Higgins. They never trailed for the rest of the game.

The Tigers next game is at Durango on Friday, April 18.

The Indians play again on Saturday morning against the Fruita Monument Wildcats.
