Tigers Win On Road, Still Tied For SWL Lead Save Email Print

MONTROSE, Colo. - The Grand Junction Tigers baseball team picked up an important road win on Tuesday night against the Montrose Indians 5-2. The win is the Tigers seventh in Southwestern League play improving their league record to 7-1 on the season.

Chris Kelly hit a solo homerun in the top of the seventh for the final run of the game. Kelly went 2-3 and scored two runs in the game as well.

The Tigers next game is on Friday night against the Fruita Monument Wildcats. The winner of that game will take over the top spot in the SWL standings.
