GRAND JUNCTION - The Fruita Monument Wildcats clinched the Southwestern League's second playoff spot with a 7-3 win over the Montrose Indians on Tuesday evening.
Wildcats pitcher Rex Clemons pitched a complete-game four-hitter to defeat the Indians at Canyon View Park.
The Wildcats are expected to begin the playoffs on the road on the Front Range.
