MONTROSE, Colo - The Montrose Indians (10-2) came from behind to advance past the first round of the playoffs, but their luck ran out in the second round on Saturday against the Greeley West Spartans (11-1) 22-8.
It looked like anyone's game after Montrose tied the score at 6-6 in the first half. But turnovers stymied the Indians' offense as they failed to get into the endzone in the second half, while giving up 16 points on defense.
Greeley West meets top-seed Pine Creek in the semifinals.
