(7)Montrose girls upended by Fruita
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Prior to Tuesday, the Lady Indians of Montrose - ranked seventh in the state - were having their way with the SWL.
Montrose was the only undefeated team in the league rankings before a 42-27 loss to Fruita Monument on Tuesday night.
Lauren Labonde led the Lady Wildcats with 19 points in the victory.
The Montrose boys, however, completed the season sweep of the Wildcats with 48-44 victory on Tuesday.
Ross Barney carried the Indians with 17 points.
