GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Fruita Monument basketball team cruised to its eighth straight win with a 68-50 victory over the Montrose Indians on Tuesday night.
FMHS (11-6, 4-0) got an early boost from Tyler Kenagy and Drew Bridges to propel the Wildcats to a nine-point lead at halftime. Bridges stayed hot in the second half to lead the team with 20 points on the night. The Indians fall to 12-4 overall and 2-2 in the SWL.
