GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Montrose Indians football team holds three of the last five SWL league titles, with their most recent coming in 2012.

This year they're hoping to continue that reign while taking their game deeper into the playoffs.

Like any team, they've lost some experience, but with returning players like Angelo Youngren and Mike Rocha in the roster, they're confident.

"We've got a good group back, some guys back on both sides of the ball," said head coach Todd Casebier. "Some inexperience at DB and quarterback, but we're hoping to work that out, but other than that we got most of our guys back and feel good about our team but again we've got a long ways to go."
