GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The No. 6 Montrose Indians failed their first round playoff test with a 38-7 home loss to No. 11 Greeley West.
Greeley West set the tone in the first quarter with a touchdown in their first drive, followed by a fumbled kick-off return that they took to the house for another six.
Greeley West added another touchdown to take a 19-0 lead in the second quarter. By the time the Indians mounted any momentum, the game was already in the Spartans' hands.
Montrose ends their season at 9-2.
