HS soccer: Montrose, Palisade, and FMHS victorious

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Fruita Monument defeated the Grand Junction Tigers 1-0 in overtime to cap off a busy day in high school soccer.

Megan Hale kicked the game-winning goal for the Wildcats as it just snuck in to the upper right corner of the goal.

In other high school soccer, Montrose and Palisade both cruised to shut out victories. The Indians defeated Central 6-0 at Longs Park and The Bulldogs silenced Aspen with a 5-0 victory.
