GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Grand Junction Tigers took two from the Indians on Friday night at Montrose.
The boy Tigers (12-5, 4-1) leaned on Tyler Winder for a 58-54 victory. Winder had 28 points and 17 of them came in a huge third quarter. Montrose falls to 12-5 overall and 2-3 in the SWL.
The girl Tigers (12-6, 5-0) claimed sole possession of first place in the SWL with a convincing 55-39 win. Both teams came in with 4-0 records in league play, but Grand Junction came out of the gates on fire and never let up.
