Montrose baseball to rely on youth in 2011

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- After a 22-4 record and an SWL title last season, the Montrose Indians will have to rely on youth to take them back to the top of the Southwestern league in 2011.

Montrose lost All-Conference players Jake Plankis, Jeremy Storter, and Jordan Passehl from the 2010 team, but they return All-Conference players Nate Robertson, Bryce Gaber, and Roland McLaren. Reigning SWL Coach of the Year Landon Wareham will have to replace seven starting positions from last year.
