GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- D'Evelyn was too powerful for the Montrose Indians to shutdown in Sunday's elimination game in the 4A state tournament.
Montrose fell to the Jaguars by a score of 8-1, finishing the Indians season.
This was the second time in three years that the Indians have reached the State Championship Tournament, but they didn't win a game in either appearance.
Montrose caps off the season with an 18-5 overall record.
