GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- In one of the closest high school games all year, the Montrose Indians edged out the Fruita Monument Wildcats 44-41 at FMHS.

FMHS (9-8, 2-2) took a two point lead into the half, but the Indians (12-5, 4-0) came out on fire in the third quarter to take the lead. Taylor Johnson tied the game in the fourth and then gave the Wildcats a one-point lead with a free throw, but Madison Gurule was fouled while making a lay-up to give the Indians the lead for good.
