GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Montrose Indians won their first SWL game of the season with a 26-16 victory over the Central Warriors.
Bryce Gaber got the scoring started for the Indians with a two yard touchdown run in the first quarter. On the ensuing kick-off, Kenny Chase ran for a 94 yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7.
But the Indians, prevailed and they improve to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in the SWL. Central falls to 2-6 and 1-3 in the SWL.
