A shocking video posted on the Internet has landed a Georgia teenager in a heap of trouble.

The video posted on YouTube shows a 16-year old boy using an inflatable pillow to launch an eight-month old baby into the air.

The baby's family had left the infant in the care of the family of the teen who was behind the camera, shooting the video.

After viewing the video, an area high school teacher contacted authorities. Lee County Sheriff Harold Breeden says his department arrested the boy seen in the video.

"He has been arrested and charged with cruelty to children in the first degree, and the third degree," Breeden said.

No charges have been filed against the teen who videotaped the incident. The baby's parents are waiting to learn if the infant received any injuries from the fall.

i hope he get's life. i have a child myself and if it was my baby i would kill that s.o.b. i want the jusice system to get him and not just give him a slap on the risk.

You know what the bad thing is in the future... when he gets out of jail (although they should BOTH be going there!); they're probably going to have kids of their own. Now that truely makes me sick to my stomach. This whole thing does! Just WHY?! Why would you do something like that? And it's not funny, it's SICK

What were these kids thinking? BOTH of these juvenile deliquents need to tried as adults! BOTH of them are guilty, the idiot behind the camera could have made a sound decision to stop this ludicris behavior, but willingly participated, and LAUGHED as hard as the other one. It doesn't matter that the public know they have never been in trouble before WHO CARES! The family that the baby was left with should be held responsible as well for not watching this baby as promised. The parents of such degenerate children should be made to stand accountable. If this were my baby, there is NOT enough justice in the entire world for these little creeps. I swear I would rip their worthless hearts from their chests. I am a mother, and the anger I feel from this, I cannot even decribe, if my child did this, I would beat him or her within an inch of death, these teens need to be placed on a child abuse registry INDEFINITELY, and prevented from any interaction with children ever!

you know what bothers me the most, is that im sure they did it more then once. they tried it then figured out it worked then taped it, then i have to ask myself what did they do with the baby once it started crying hysterically from the pain, and how long was this baby in their care, the details surrounding the event are in fact scarrier then what really happend...

I can't believe how smart kids are these days, no doubt all they're friends thought it was hilarious when they showed them. Goes to show you how desensitized people are these days, I am surprised grand theft auto wasn't playing on the tv in the back ground. As for the kid behind the camera, he should get the same punishment as his stupid friend. Someone should be allowed to inflict the same amount of pain on them as they did to the poor defenceless baby. My wife and I are truly disgusted with this video and the thought that someone could do this. We now have second thoughts about ever leaving our 9 month old with other people, thanks idiots.

I too am also very distrubed about this video & feel these kids should be punished to the fullest. And the family of the baby should sue the hell out of all involved. Hats off for the teacher for bringing this to the attention of the police. What's wrong with kids today??????????

I don't know what it is worse. That it happened or it happened where I live. I know that in jail, there are fathers, uncles, grandfathers. And they are gonna eat him alive. And why is the cameraman not punished? He could have stopped it. But oh no. these boys wanted to have a laugh and be exposed on YouTube. They are, all right. Unfortunately, YouTube are full of angry folks who wants these two to pay. May God be with them.

I think we should kill this kid. Just kill him. First, we know he is a cruel bastard. Second, we know he is stupid because he videotapes his cruelty and posts it on YouTube. Do we really need more cruel stupid people in the world? To the parents of the kid ... you had a good run, but it's time to take out the trash. Kill, or at least castrate him and cut off his hands and tongue, maybe slash the hamstrings so he wanders through the rest of his life a hobbling, muttering idiot that everyone makes fun off. Sorry, but that's how I feel about anyone who hurts animals or babies.

I can not believe my eyes. My mother called me from Florida to tell me about this youtube video and I needed to see it for myself. I'm so angry words can't explain!!! A person like this should pay and if this country was runned by me, I would assure you he wouldn't have a comfortable life in jail...His everyday would be hell! I agree with Jodi, He wouldn't survive an extra day! That teen has no heart, and never will. I'm soo upset right now I'm shaking...I hope he rots in hell!

This kid should be put in jail. If he is doing that what else is he capable of? This just makes me sick to my stomach. Where are this kids parents? Why is this very unintelligant teenager left alone with this baby? I can't even believe how STUPID these teenagers are. They deserve to be thrown off a building and see how they feel.
