Back in January, the government changed passport regulations requiring everyone traveling to Mexico, the Caribbean and Canada to have one.
Once the government did this, people flooded passport offices. The process to get a passport became so long and drawn out that the offices and government needed time to catch up. So the government decided to ease up and gave people until today.
In January, regulations will change once again. The new regulations will require all travelers going by air, land, and sea into and out of the country to have a passport.
