A lesson in racism may have gone too far. It happened at an elementary school run by Grambling State University in Louisiana.
A teacher brought a noose to class for a discussion about the recent Jena 6 demonstrations.
During the lesson, the teacher put the noose around one of the student's necks. Someone took photos of the incident which were published in the University's newspaper.
Reactions from students on the historically black campus were mixed. School officials say they are investigating the incident.
