During the month of October, residents of Colorado have had one thing on their minds -- Rockies, Rockies, and more Rockies.
Rocktober mania has swept across the Grand Valley and as long as the Rockies keep winning, it doesn't show any signs of slowing down.
"This is beyond belief," said Rockies fan Frank Michalek. "They've been a disappointment so many years, but now this year they're on a roll you cannot believe. I'm very excited about it."
Many fans are saying that this breakout season has been a long time coming.
"It's about time," said Rockies fan Dennis Bloomquist. "Not only is it about time, but I don't see anybody that's even going to stop them."
As fans across the Grand Valley watch Game 4 of the NLCS Monday night, they can only think about and hope for one thing.
"They'll win," said Rockies fan Kathy Schmoldt. "I'm sure of that. I'm assured that they're going to win the World Series."
"I'm more than excited," said Bloomquist. "I know they're going to do it. I'm planning for the World Series already."
Fans are so sure the Rockies will win the pennant that they're already thinking about how they will be getting to Denver in two weeks.
"Even if I have to go through the contest system, I'll do whatever it takes," said Rockies fan Andrew Jones.
"It's only a three and a half hour drive to go to Denver to see the Rockies play in the World Series, which you bet I'll do," said Michalek. "I'll make that trip."
Fans looking to nab some of those World Series tickets will be able to do so very soon. They go on sale Monday, October 22 at 10am. There's a limit of four tickets per person, and they range in price from $65-$250.
Fans can buy tickets online at the Rockies website, and in person at the Coors Field box office or Team Dugout stores.
