Airline employees have been arrested on drug trafficking charges.

18 Airline employees in New York and in the Dominican Republic are under arrest, charged with trafficking drugs through JFK Airport in New York.

The employees include 7 people who work for Delta Airlines, and 1 who worked for American Airlines. U.S. Customs Agents say the workers in the Dominican Republic would hide drugs in luggage bound for New York. Then, the workers in New York would retrieve the luggage before they were inspected, and take them to a safe area.
