Rimrock Elementary School students gathered outside Wednesday to share their hopes for the future. A program in the Grand Valley called Kids Voting held the event in hopes of inprinting the importance of informed voting and the responsibility each citizen holds to their community. Students made stars to place on a tree outside of the school, with handwriten notes on them saying what each student hoped for the future. Some kids wished for a cure for cancer while others wanted everyone to just get along. Kids Voting is a non-profit organization that works with kids from kindergarten to the 12th grade.
