Women who eat a healthy diet, including whole grains, vegetables, and fish, in combination with moderate alcohol intake and exercise, have a 92% decreased risk for heart attack. This is according to a report published in the archives of Internal Medicine, which compared the diets of nearly 25,000 women.

Not smoking and maintaining a healthy weight were also contributing factors in the reduced risk for heart attack.
