The National Weather Service says southwest winds are bringing in smoke from the California wildfires.

You may have noticed the haze across Mount garfield, the Grand Mesa, the Bookcliffs and other parts of Mesa county.

The weather service says the smoke should clear up in the next few days.

We checked with the Mesa County Health Department and it says the air pollution is getting worse. As of 1pm there were no health advisories due to the air quality.

Health officials will be measuring the air quality throughout the day and may then issue a health advisory.

Tune into 11 news at 5:30 to find out if a health advisory has been issued.
